We are Celebrating National Elephant Day at Little Tikes!

We enjoyed researching fun facts about elephants this past week and we want to share our knowledge with you! We were surprised at just how social and lovable elephants are.

Elephants Nurture
Did you know that elephants are highly sensitive and caring animals? Elephants are mammals and love their babies just as much as we love ours. If a baby elephant complains, the entire family will rumble and go over to touch and caress it.

Baby Elephants
A baby elephant is called a calf. Here at Little Tikes we call our children tikes. Nurturing young children is something that mammals share. Like all mammals, baby elephants feed off of their mother's milk. They can drink up to 3 gallons of milk a day while human babies can drink up to 32 oz of milk a day.

Elephants are Social
Tikes love learning about elephants and My Buddy -Triumphant will sure to be your child's new favorite elephant friend. He's lovable and cuddly and full of surprises. Available in pink and blue, My Buddy will keep your growing tike busy by discovering all the different ways to play. With over 240 sounds and phrases your child can listen to music, learn numbers, letters and first words.

Elephants are social creatures. They sometimes "hug" by wrapping their trunks together in displays of greeting and affection. My Buddy loves to cuddle too. Press his tummy to make him light up and giggle!
